I will from time to time post on this blog but my newly revamped blog can be found atBeautifullyCurled.com. Here you will find much recent updates about my hair journey along with my daughter's and so much more. Hope you will come by and visit and thanks for stopping by this blog. Be blessed. -Kris
Zakiah loves her bath time! Since her cord has fallen off, Zakiah is able to take a real bath instead of a sponge bath. I still sit her on top of the hammock that comes with the tub but now I fill the tub up with more water. She looks so precious when drying her off:
Zakiah was all dressed up and ready for bed. Hahaha...seemed to be too ready for bed before we could even get her there:
Wow, having a baby changes your life ALL around! It is no longer about just Kristal or just Josh. It is mainly about Zakiah.
She does not really cry much except for when she's hungry or need a diaper change. Those late night feeds are a killer on mommy's sleep. She would get up at least 3-4 times a night. But hey, that is what babies do (at least for now...).
I have been recovering quite nicely. I still have lots of weight to lose but that will come in time. It took me 9 months to gain 53 pounds and hopefully it will take no longer than 9 months to lose it all. Plus, breastfeeding burns about 500 calories a day. Nice!
